While some people associate us with jazz (Denton's Art and Jazz Festival draws fans from beyond Texas borders every April!), Denton remains a city free from just one "sound" - its music ranges from polka-playing Grammy winners Brave Combo to Top-40 punk band "Bowling For Soup". Eli Young, one of the nation's top country bands got their start here. Multiple Grammy winners Don Henley and Norah Jones have also called Denton home.
